We just picked up a deer roast and a roast beef. Awesome, delicious and a big portion! Thank you, we'll definitely get something again.

Good home cooking. Nice atmosphere outside when the weather is nice. I can't say anything about the interior. The meal was okay. We had schnitzel and medallions with spaetzle. Very good taste and portions also big enough. Extensive menu. Is definitely recommended.

Good kitchen, nice staff and a very nice beer garden!

The food was really very good. I would have the pumpkin cream soup as a starter and the duck breast as the main course. Both dishes were really delicious. I like to give this restaurant 5 out of 5 stars.

Great food, great atmosphere and great location. The service is very friendly and quick. Menu has a huge selection of traditional dishes. The only negative thing to be noted is that the owner often has his huge Merzedes too much on the pedestrian strip and that currently in Covid19 times the hand disinfectant can only be used for viruses to a limited extent.

Locally open, in the afternoon you don't get anything to eat, not even a snack! Cake is only available when asked by the boss! Cake was very good then price in the upper price segment! With little effort you could still earn quite a few euros!

Great Bavarian Food with a lovely beer garden

First of all, it has to be mentioned that tastes are of course different. And this should also be accepted and respected by everyone. The location and the beer garden are nice. The waiting times on the food at peak times unfortunately with over 1 hour compared to other restaurants in Amberg very long. To our experience: the chanterelle soup was rich in mushrooms, but very salted. The shoppers were ok with meat, nothing special. The sauce unfortunately very salted as well as the appetizer (I am definitely not sensitive to salt, but unfortunately that was extreme). The suckling pig roast was unfortunately very dry, tasteless and the sauce very salty. Criticism: on the question how it tasted we told our concerns. Unfortunately, this was with "that can not be, the other guests it tastes too" shrugged. Too bad, considering that only too many guests the question "how it tasted" with a polite "good" or "was ok" answer. So we are educated - polite to answer. Similar to the question "how are you" in the US. You always say "Fine" ... even if you have tears in your eyes. Precisely because it is a courtesy phrase whose answer has no meaning. For this reason, it would be desirable for guests to be more serious and with more respect in the future. "

Had a great evening with colleagues. Are pork shoulder and the pannacotta came with a sea of strawberries and two cups of whipped cream. Walked away with a very full belly.

Small and beautiful hut, very traditional and with very good meals. It has some seasonal dishes and some clasic bavarian plates. I like it bmvery much. In the su.mer it also has outside place to drink a beer "biergarden"
